My name is Lisa, and I'm a stay-at-home mom to two amazing little girls. I know firsthand how overwhelming motherhood and the mental load can be. Over the course of my motherhood journey, I've created a community of messy moms online, but I wanted to create something a little more tangible to go with it. Something that would keep us connected beyond a screen.
I also realized I was spending way too much time doomscrolling, trying to keep up with all the new parenting things we're bombarded with every day. The constant stream of short-form videos has a way of stealing our time and zapping our attention spans.
So, I created a monthly newsletter that rounds up all those things we tend to look at online and puts them into a tangible, old-fashioned snail mail format.
Because I don't know about you, but I miss the days when I'd get something in the mail that wasn't a bill. A letter from an actual person who actually cared about me and wanted to know how I was doing.
I'd much rather get something in the mail than another email or pop-up notification on my phone. Something I can sit with at the kitchen table while I drink my morning coffee. Something I can actually hold onto instead of scrolling past and forgetting five minutes later.
I also wanted to create printables for busy (or just plain messy) moms. Little things that can make life and the mental load feel a bit easier.
And because I'm a mom first and foremost, it wouldn't be fun mail from me if it didn't also include a little surprise for the kiddos. :)
